These are the first lines of Ishavasya Upanisad, which is a part of Yajur Veda. The Vedas, which are some of man’s earliest writings have been dated to about 5000 years ago. These lines have a very beautiful meaning, which has a great message for modern-day man.
Life’s goals should be based on the Vedic Wisdom, which I adopted in my childhood:
Satyam Vad : Dharmam Char.
Speak the Truth and act honestly.
Setting a goal in life is important for everyone. The Mission of my life is: To test the Truth of Divine Wisdom spoken and handed down by tradition by the ancient seers of India:
Struggle or challenge is life. If everything becomes very plain and easy we will not know our own selves. To know our own selves, to realize the glory of God, to realize the glory of life or to be able to see or know something, opposition and contrast are very important.
